contain flexible polyurethane foam (FPF)

and certified by independent laboratories.
CertiPUR-US is like having a health check-up
for foam. The foam is examined and put
through a series of scientific tests -- to
be sure it meets the strict voluntary
standards of the CertiPUR-US program. The
tests evaluate foam content and important
durability factors. Only foam products that
have been tested and approved are certified
by CertiPUR-US.
The global foam industry developed the
voluntary CertiPUR-US guidelines with the
guidance of industry leaders, scientists,
consumer advocates and environmentalists
around the world. Foam is used in hundreds
of different consumer products to provide
comfort, support, safety and durability.
It's one of the most versatile materials
ever created.
At this time, only the foams that are used
in the cushioning of upholstered furniture
and bedding can become certified. The first
foams to be certified have recently been
